Prof. Chen Donghui is currently vice-president of SIT, he also serves as the dean of SEI. He received his bachelor's degree & master's degree from China Textile University (which is now Donghua University) in Polymeric Materials, and then gained his doctor's degree from Tokyo Metropolitan University.

He used to teach & instruct postgraduate students in Donghua University from Aug. 1990, and later became the dean of International Cultural Exchange School. Since Dec. 2006, he serves as the vice president of SIT.

Prof. Chen engages in the research on Water Pollution Control Engineering, Ecological Environment Construction & Reclamation of Wastes, and has published over 50 papers, nearly 20 of which were included by SCI & EI.
