Prof. Liu YuLu is currently vice-president of SIT, and used to be the former (first) dean of SEI. He received his bachelor's degree & master's degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University during 1978-1984, then gained his doctor's degree from Shanghai University of Technology. He used to be a senior visiting scholar in University of California, Berkeley. He serves as the vice president of SIT from Feb. 2005.

He engages in the theoretical and application research of Fluid Mechanics, and made important contributions in Turbulence Theory & Environmental Fluid Mechanics.

       In 1996, he was selected into the National Hundred Talents Program. And He was approved to receive the State Council Special Allowance since 1997.
