Prof. Yu Zhenli joined Shanghai Institute of Technology (SIT) in Nov. of 2009. He is serving as the director of Engineering Education Research Group of the Prof. Yu received his Ph. D. degree of electronic engineering at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the During Nov. of 1992 to Nov. of 1993, he was a guest researcher at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Before 2000, Zhenli was associated professor of Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University (ZJU), where he gave courses of “Speech Processing” and “Digital Signal Processing” for graduates and “Signals and systems” for undergraduates. He was the supervisor of graduate students of master at ZJU. From Feb. of 2000 to Oct. of 2009, Prof. Yu had been working at Motorola China Research Centre (MCRC), served as Senior Staff Research Engineer, where he had contributed to key technologies of speech synthesis and text-to-speech (TTS), as well as their applications to mobile devices and communication. Prof. Yu’s main interests of research include speech analysis, speech synthesis, speech recognition, and digital signal processing.
