Prof. Xu Bing: Senior engineer, associate professor, vice dean of EII, also served as the vice provost of SIT. He gradated from Shenyang Institute of Chemical Technolgy in 1989.

Main research directions: Industry Automation & Field Bus Control System.

Prof. Xu was once employed as senior engineer of Gansu Oil Chemical Academy. He participated more than 30 projects, and was rewarded for his excellent engineering design & consulting by the province for several times. Prof. Xu has published about 10 papers at home and abroad. He compiled Processing Control (text book), which was published in Oct. 2005.
